After founder Tammy Tam began her career working as a buyer at Brooks Brothers, production manager at Banana Republic, and fabric researcher at Ralph Lauren, she went off on her own working as a stylist for private clients and then launching her mens accessories brand, Tartan Tam. Established in 2015, she set out with the goal of creating a product made in America that features all the sophisticated elegance of Europe's finest artisan workshops, but with a functional twist. Her ties utilize classic patterns and sumptuous European fabrics in a modern width, along with the special design detail of a signature pocket on the tipping.
